Whether its upholstery, re-uphostery or a fresh new pair of curtains we need to think about fabrics. 

Once you have made an appointment for a design consultation it's time to think about fabrics, colours and textures.  We reccomennd having a look at our range of fabrics and ordering any samples you really like.  We will bring a selection of books to the design visit but don't worry if your ideas change.  We can help you develop a new scheme and order samples as required.  We insist that for every project we have a sample of the fabric to ensure we all undertstand how the finished product will look.  We will always offer advice on any fabric and highlight its features and benefits and also any things we may need to consider such as pattern placement, repeat, drape etc.

Have you own fabric? Thats absolutely fine too.  We will check your fabric to ensure its suitable for the project and check the quantities.

Access.  Please remember we will need to be able to see all sides of any furniture that is needing upholstery so we can measure and advise appropriately.  For curtains and blinds please make sure the window is accessible and if appropriate has clear space to allow us to use our ladders.
